ABS Warning Light
ok, light comes on and goes off as normal when you start car, reverse is fine, but as soon as you start driving forwards the ABS light comes on and stays on. have tried doing a fault code check but it says its fine, because it is until u start moving. any ideas?

Yeh, ABS is easy to change, annoying if it's not storing a code tho, my offside front went dodgy sometime ago but it stored the code so there wasn't any guessing/trying each sensor.
When you checked for codes which pins did you short? Apologies if you already know this, but the ABS codes are read using different pins to the normal ECU codes.

<!--QuoteBegin-Rusty_CallyT+--><div class='quotetop'>(Rusty_CallyT)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->sounds sus to me, whats it comparing the signal to if no other wheels are turning.
check and clean all the toothed rings and sensors before randomly changing stuff<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I suppose it might show up if the sensors failing, I think from memory one of the two codes for each wheel is low voltage (or similar).
As Rusty says tho, for starters make sure the toothed cog and the sensor tip are clean of any accumulated crud, long before mine went properly faulty it was intermittently giving me errors, and when I checked the sensor tip was caked up with crud, quick gently clean and it was fine.
