Creaking grinding scraping noise..

creeeeaaaak scrappppppe nasty nasty noise when parking , From the front drivers side, when turning , its not going to be the wishbones or the balljoints as there all fairly new, same as the antitoll bar links, its from just behind the wheel

Is it likely its going to be the other ball joint on the steering to wheel joint, is that the track rod end????, or does it sound like the top mounts or something else nasty, the car doesnt have to be moving so its not the drive shafts

be supprised if its the track rod end, unless it has play, jack that side up and rock it (emulate steering left/right) and feel the joint as you're doing it for play/knocking.
its more likely the strut top bearing or strut tops rubbing. again you could possibly get someone to feel it, but you'd need to do it with weight on, so i gues you'd not get any hands in there underneath, not sure you'd feel it from top, could take the silver dohnuts off i guess.
