help, has my cally finally had it ?

help !!!

the ol' girl has set me back an average of £100 each month for the last 6 months.

i am now getting deap thudding sound somewhere from the front when pulling away slowly (3 to four thuds) with the steering turned hard to either the left or to the right.i cant tell if this continues when i'm up and running as the engine noise may be masking it.
on top of the steering feels very sloppy and i may be imagining it but i seem to be able to feel every bump in the road.

i have had the track rod ends un-seized and re-tracked back in december and also the front suspension arms replaced also in december.

i am an imbacile in the ways of cars, does this sound like a half arsed job done at the garage? a worn ball joint or the dreaded power stearing up the swanny? any educated opinions would be very much appreciated.

thanks,
something i can ask them, i had drivers side suspension arm, wishbone and shock absorber fitting along with track rod end un-seized and re trackked at a local garage.
like i say, i am an idiot in the ways of these things, just took it in a paid the bill.
if the anti roll bar is not connected is that something that would seriously effect handling (sorry, i know this sounds real dim)

I just had a shedload of work done on mine, back brakes, discs, pads, backplates etc. Also wishbones and anti roll bar bushes. The ARB bushes aren't that expensive, although they are a bit of a pig to fit.

Car now handles a whole lot better, feels tighter up front, so I would imagine the same applies in reverse, if your ARB bushes are shot to bits, you would probably notice the handling from the front end feels a lot looser.
