You can fit calibra turbo 288mm discs and callipers behind a set of standard Cav GSi style, original calibra rims, but they literally have about a gnat's c**k space between caliper and inside of wheel. Aftermarket wheels, minimum 16" is required. I've got a 288mm setup behind my 16" BBS RX's (came as standard on DTM's and some SE's, i believe) on a four stud. Bought them new off a friend cheap cheap [like the bird] then got them re-drilled to a four stud configuration. This involves drilling 3 new holes, and having one of the existing ones milled out - your local machining places will be the best to advise you. And then you need some spacer rings, available from LMF at a cost of about £20 delivered to take the internal hole diameter to the correct size. I'm running drilled and grooved discs with ebc greenstuff pads, and you do notice a difference, but as was commented earlier, it does help if you've got good tyres as well. And another thing to note, if you've got wear pad sensors already on your brake pads, you'll need to cut the ends of the loom on the car off by the front arms and insulate the ends with tape and/or heatshrink.

I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it really isn't. All in all, for the conversion from 4-stud standard 256mm setup to 288mm, including 2nd hand callipers, new discs (ebc drilled & grooved) and pads (ebc greenstuff), the machine work and spacers, i was £160 worse off. I probably wouldn't have bothered if the standard ones on there didn't need replacing, but for the difference in cost of replacing oe ones to newer ones, i thought it was well worth doing.

Hope this helps in some way!!!!
