V6 rear disc sizes

by robs_cal » Sun Jan 29, 2006 9:51 pm

Just need a little help please.

I'm getting my rear discs replaced on my V6 and want to check sizes. I've bought some through mail order and got Vauxhall to fit. Now they say they are too big and not deep enough (even though I bought them for a 96 model Cally).

Whats the correct size - Vauxhall are saying they should be 260x10 with a 74mm overall depth (including hub). The ones I bought are 284x10 with a depth of 70mm??

I've done searches, but Im more confused than before:tongue:

Cheers

mark the rears had a nasty habit of changing around the 95/96 mark.

got caught out on this before when ordering them best to take your serial number to vx and check through there or someone with bannana might be able to do it for you
