I had similar on my car, wasnt Konis, but was the strut top worn. When the car was jacked up the whole leg would move quite a bit if you wiggled the wheel from top to bottom. I had a noise from the springs at slow speeds whilst turning.

I had that too.. one spring wasn't sitting right (they actually have a notch) so it was popping in and out of it's tray. Easy mistake to make and was quickly rectified.

bloody potholes. i had mine running perfect after changing the tie rod ends. 1 or 2 big potholes later n its back grinding as bad as ever. the guy who did the tracking a hile back said the strut was damaged doh so maybe its as u suggest. bloody 18s. ill eventually get round to changing it.

never had any probs with suspension while running 17's but since 18's have had nothing but probs, when u hit a polehole, apart from breaking your back, u think the strut will come through

I have just had this problem after i fitted my konis, at low speed i got creking but sounds like its just from the nr side.

To cold and wet to investigate at the moment.

has anyone rectified this problem yet, ive just fitted Koni adjustables and am getting the same problem, can be really load at times, just had them apart to see if i could see a problem but everything looks ok, the wheel does move forward though when its jacked up as if the whole strut wasnt seated correctly ?! doing my head in now and its gotta be really load outside the car ?!
