Abs

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

Abs

by Robs-se » Sat Jan 07, 2006 1:38 pm

Last night i had some ponytailed tosspot step onto a zebra crossing when i was about 5 yards from it. Stepped on the brakes VERY hard and by the time i was almost stopped i was half way accross the crossing so with some swearing and hand gestures (naughty me) carried on with my journey.

Now the ABS i assumed kicked in because there was this horrible rumble and what felt like a notchy grinding coming from the front up through the pedal.

Can someone put my mind at rest and tell me this is what normally happens when the abs kicks in or are my brakes u/s. The wheels didn't lock by the way
