Oh yes
I did the whole brake system
new grooved front/rear discs.
New pads all round.
new handbrake shoes.
new handbrake cable.
black diamond stainless steel hoses front/rear.
new brake fluid.
my handbrake cable was only holding on one side and a mate suggested changing for a new one as it might have stretched it on one side.

<!--QuoteBegin-wilkybar-kid+--><div class='quotetop'>(wilkybar-kid)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->It should give equel pull on each side any way due to the way they are cabled up, I am guessing it is where the pads are getting low<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
The 2 parts of the cable used to pull the handbrake shoes are not made of equal lengths, and my old one was definitely stretched. i noticed it when i placed the old next to the new.
