cv joint

this sucks the cali is in the shop for a mot and they cant get a cv joint to work. its a 91. the splines on the shaft are correct one one but the abs gear is wrong and on the other one the asb gear is correct but the splines are wrong. someone help me please and quick i need it to go home tonight. it is the drivers side outer. please help!

sorted the part had to come from the stealership. i had to drive a rover 400 w/out heat home last night. but its cool i left them with f all for gas.

abs light still on though oh well it still passed

read the abs fault codes, could just be a dirty sensor

That's odd, I always thought it was a failure if the light was on as this means the ABS is innoperative however if the vehicle has it, it should be working!
