Hi there does anyone know the right part number for turbo discs?
Bought some from vauxhall but they don't fit, the inner won't part go over my hubs?
part n# on the box doesn't match the part n# on the discs either? should it?

part n# on box is=93175482

part n# on discs are=gm93182306

CHEERS FOR ANY INFO;)

Have not got those part numbers on my copy of EPC, but I know there are two different sizes of disc on the Turbo. They changed the hub sizes at some point too I think.

EPC = Electronic Parts Catalogue (I think)

It's what vauxhall use to find part numbers, has all the exploded diagrams of how things go together too. You can get these off eBay but I don't think the public are suppoesd to have them.

Phone Vauxhall on monday and give them your chassis number and the'll confirm that the parts are right or wrong.

No can do my cally's only 16v not turbo so i don'yt have chassis n#? just trying to replace exsitsing discs, only had her 2 year and never needed to fix anything till now.
So as you can see its a bit strange (its got 288mm discs ie:turbo? but only 16v calipers?) so trying to upgrade discs and calipers for my own benifit.

so you have the 4x4 non turbo version not many of them made but your chassie number will be the correct one ( I gather you thought it was a transplant)

I dont know where you got those number from but here's what EPC says:

C20let range S1999999-S9999999 use disk part nr. 90492513 (kat nr 5 69 047)
or
C20LET range T1000001-T9000001 use disk part nr. 90512029 (kat nr. 5 69 056)

Those are turbo discs and will not fit except if you convert to hubs from turbo (I asume you did that)

Cheers

did you get pads with the discs?

part no 93175482 is a kit number for front pads and discs so that number won't match either the disc number or the pad number.

the kit part no's aren't always on epc.

Sorted my little prob yes it was a kit, But they gave me a kit for 96 onwards and i needed pre 96,So i took it back today after a long phone call to vaux' with them telling me that there wasn't any more than two types of discs.
But i had checked it out on a brake site last night the 2 types are 1st=are for caliper casting 54/24 disc size 284mm (early type) & 2nd=are for caliper casting 57/25 disc size 288mm(96 onwards).
Then after showing them my findings(printed it off) they admitted there was more discs for the turbo, and since the disc change they had had no call for them so they forgot about that set at £150 just for the discs alone:eek:
so got my money back and hot footed it out of there, and bought some grooved drilled and vented discs for £80 off e-bay. prob' solved hopefully;)
