Ok i know this should be in electrical but more people look here...

Ive just got the plug from a floppy drive for my voltmeter... now i need to know which wires which? theres 4 in total and the colours are wrong cus there from the PC. Id like to know how to wire it up and where to get the live feed from etc...

me I wired the light bit from the clock one
earth from the cig lighter..could even use the live feed from that if you want

tho the oil pressue isnt wired up it goes flying off the scale!

the oil gauge will need a wire run through to the sender unit ..you can get one from any motor factors just ask for the astra GTE one, thats what i have on and works just fine ..or get one from autovaux costs about £32
