Any particular type I need?
How much am I looking at paying?

The car decides now and then not to start, bumping always works.

The family 2 bigblock engines (1.8 8v up to 2.2 16v) all share the same starter (or at the least compatible)

There are two main types, a larger Delco or the smaller Bosch. Go for the bosch as it's more reliable.
