Just noticed that over the weekend my oil pressure gauge seem to stick ,when i started the car up it would go right upto full and gradually come down again.now theres no difference in the engine sound so i guess everything is ok and perhaps im right and it sticks.

just wondered if this is quite common?

Mine does that but it don't bother me as it settles down almost straight away.

If the needle goes right off the scale then you need to take the connector off the pressure sensor & give both a good clean with electrical contact cleaner. You can see the sensor if you jack up the drivers side & take the wheel off, it's just behind the oil filter.

lol at least yours goes down - mine stays up so to speak ;)

Apparantly it is normal- will be purchasing a groovy digital gauge soon so not a prob for long.

Did try anf take the gauge out but being a bird I kinda got in a mess lol

Must practise more- and not break my interior :)
