How do open the filler cap if the central locking is not working?

i think you need to remove the boot interior on the left and you will get to the electric motor there....

Well I put a 30AMP fuse in it(yes I know thats not the the thing to do) and it held for about 30seconds which gave me the time to get the cap open.

Anybody got any ideas why the fuse would blow? I've looked at the wiring and can't see anything.

Is the motor down to earth? Is it short circuited?
