relay keeps blowing, help please, urgent

can any1 help,

sine i have had my car on the road(3wks) it has been through 2 indicator relays, any sugestions?

when i was (trying to)fitting the stereo i noticed the wireing was a BIG mess, could this be a part of it? as i was told that there is a wire that goes from the sidelights to the stereo for lighting,

and on the relay's, how many prongs(studs or what ever ya call 'em) should there be?

i realy need this sorted this weekend as i gotta goto past sevenokes tuesday(from hastings) and need my indicators, cheers guys

I had a similiar problem on my old Granada it turned out that one of the live wires had lost a little piece of it's shroud and kept catching against the body every now and again. took me ages to figure out but managed to spot the wire covered offending piece in electrical tape. seems you have a similiar situation. I'd check that you have not caught one of the live wires behind the stereo. also follow the wires from the indicators backwards.

thats gonna be tough aint it? the wires from the indicatores back?

not sure, they jus make a buzzing noise, a blown smell and don't work, so they are nakered, got another 1 2day and they indicators work, but are very dim and sumtimes cant see them working at all wiv hazards on, and the interior light and dash lighhts flash wiv it, been told it's a bad earth, how can i find out where it is and fix it?

i reli need this sorted out by monday latest, any hep is good help
