Door solinoids

Just had Cat 1 fitted to the soop now I'm thinking I could do without door handles. Anyone had remote solinoids fitted? If so what do you need to make em legal, where'd you get em from and how much did they cost?

Better late than never,

I dont have door handles. Unfortinately I asked GAP to do it when they did the alarm but the drivers side door dosent pop open as much as I would like it too. Its a fairly easy job just a bit fiddly.

Get some decent sized soliniods if you do it yourself so they pop open enough!

They pass the MOT which is legal enough for me!

About £60 a door fitted from memory!

I have my door panels off at the mo if your interested in pics!

It's a laserline cat 1. NOW the problem is I want to de-handle AND have lambo doors. Can it be done?

I'm not sure if it's possible to Rig a Laserline with door solarnoids. They might do it as an extra.

Reading Bodges post again, it doesn't looks like he was recommending GAP either.

Yes you can de handle and have lambo doors! Would look awsome to have doors that open like they do, remotely!
