HID Lights

So, I'm finally getting my HID kit this afternoon, do I need to remove the relays which I put in to make the original lights brighter, and just use the original wiring? Also, will I still get an error on the dash when I put in the HID kit?

You don't need the relays as the HID system only draws about 35w, so just use the original wiring and you shouldn't get any warning light on the dash.

In South Africa I've been battling to find any, I'm a bit reluctant to order off e-bay with the postage over here I'll probably never get them!! Finally I found a place that will get them for me for about R1500.00, which is about 100Pounds, didn't seem too bad??

As long as they are a good make like Bosch or Philips then £100 isn't a bad price.

Thats a great price..I was in on a group buy some time ago and paid around the 152 pound mark. 6000k..great improvement. Been told they are intensely bright (light up the road ahead in a crisp white light) and look blue as you approach someone with them on at night.

There not available as 1llusion doesn't sell them anymore, and i don't know of anyone else who sells them.

My clear lenses came of a pair of ebay angel eye headlight units.
