Autowatch 160RLI/T Alarm wiring?
Ok guys, been at this over a long period of time but finally managed to make some headway on diagnosing the non-working alarm? Found that whoever fitted the alarm in the first place had not connected up the wires for the internal sensors, boot, bonnet and finally the chirp that is made when activating/de-activating the alarm. Well my final hurdle is connecting up the visual indications, the indicators in this case. Have two yellow wires that should be connected to the positive wire of the indicators but don't have a clue which wires they are? Any help would be appreciated

Cheers for that Fraz. Will look and see what I have. Did notice something else whilst digging around earlier. Found a red wire coming from one of the plugs fitted to the control box and it was cut. Looking at the installation guide that I had, it maybe the wire that is described as Power supply for indicators? This would probably explain why the indicators aint flashing as they have no direct power when the ignition is switched off? As there are only two red wires coming from the alarm and one is to supply actual power to the control box I think the remaining red wire is the indicator wire? Will do some more investigating in the morning, well as long as the rain has died down!

Well, been no joy with the red wire. Connected it as per instructions and wired everything as it should to the indicators. Now when I switch the alarm on/off I get an additional three beeps, which I think is possibly a warning to say something ain't quite right? Will have to take a trip to the local autowatch guy as the auto sparky up my way doesn't have a clue about autowatch alarms, even if the instructions are supplied?!
MJ, my thouhts are with you. If there was no problems with the alarm then it would have been wired from the start? Obviously something's not quite right?
