M3 MIRRORS (HELP!)

Can anyone give me some guidance on fitting my M3 mirrors.there the ones with the indicactors built in,just wanna know how you wire up the indicators.is the wires to the side indicators in the side door wiring or do i wire them from the front indicators or is it a wings off job.

i think you wire them to the side repeaters. am getting a set on myself on friday.

I have the same mirrors, I took mine from the side indicators,Took the inner
wing of(straight forward to wire up) the wires then came though the same
hole were all the wires for the windows, heated mirror switch etc etc ....
Took about a couple of hrs...

No need to take wings off, the main loom runs in the footwells and under the dash. Find the black/green stripe and black/white stripe wires and tap into those. (You need to remove the panels in the footwells which are next to the doors) Have a look here in the passenger footwell.

PS: Please use a multimeter and make sure you have the right wires before doing anything!

Ok i got the same prob as well. So these two wires are for left and right hand indicators or one is positive and the other is negative for one side and in the footwell of the other side is the two wires for the other mirror. And can anyone tell me which wire is which for the three wires to the mirror mechanism
