Omega 'bug eye'?

by lammy » Fri Dec 01, 2006 7:13 pm

I've known that a few owners have replaced the interior light with the Omega 'bug eye' version as a bit of an upgrade...however in the last posting I read it was stated that the 'fade' element of the original Calibra light didn't work...is it possible to do this? or are the neccessary wires missing to allow the fade to work with thye calibra wiring?

mine fades and ive done nowt to it but wire it up to the standard wiring, have yet to work out how to get the side bits working tho, largely due to not having tried. It probably just needs power looping off another one

Fade should work - does on my Carlton and Omega.
You can wire the bug eye switches to the same live that the regular bulb is wired to.
