Trip Computer Backlight?

Is the trip computer meant to be back lit?

If so what kinda bulbage does it require and how you change?

theres a bulb in the side of the trip computer, take the surround off, then pull the computer out, it goes into the side of it, dont know what type though , i soldered leds into it so ive never changed the bulb
