Well as most of you know we have recently rebuilt my engine and everything has been running smoothely since even though oil got spilt everywhere

Anyway, over the last couple of days the EML has been intermittently coming on and off so i flashed the code and came up with a 13?

Now that means Oxygen Sensor no variation in charge, but what is the oxygen sensor, where is it and whats likely to be wrong with it?

It screws into the exhaust , on the xe i think its just behind the engine underneath on the exhaust manifold, they die quite easily , they just screw into the exhaust and have a plug to join up, cost about 30 pound for a cheapo one from the motor factors but the bosch ones are better there is someone online who does bosh ones cheaper than vx

yeah ive read in haynes that its the lambda sensor, ill have to get a newen next week [img]/smile.gif[/img]

hmm went on a long journey tonight and the car was very lumpy indeed on the throttle, could this be the lambda sensor?
