v6 trip computer

my trip computer in my 95 v6 has decided not to play games any more, used to work fine, now it displays the time and with ignition on it will show me my instant mpg but i cant cycle through the different options!!!!!1 would it be the switch or the trip comp thats done for?? i can use the switch to set the time and if i hold down the big (not raised button) it will show some sort of codes lol but thats it...... cheers for any help in advance

try the switch first mate. check the plug is connected properly under the handbrake. the small white plug closest to the drivers seat

the switch is pluged in fine still no joy

if there is no f on the computer it must be a dodgy switch. grab one from a scrappy

easier said than done though m8 lol how many do u see in scrappies ??

or wire up a vectra stalk and use that instead
