Airbag light

by AndyNI » Tue Mar 21, 2006 4:02 am

Bought a new standard wheel off Ebay for my Cally,as mine was a bit tatty. left it out with my mechanic to put on, now the airbag light stays on. He used the same airbag, only changed the wheel. What has he done, and how could i get the light out?
All help appreciated! Andy.

You will have to take your cally to a Vaux dealer to reset the light.

True, sounds like he didn't wait for the airbag to disarm before removing.

Is there no way around this? Is it not just a matter of shorting out a couple of pins on the unit?
