Heating Control Pannel-Lights?

Does the heating control pannel have back lights in it?

Ive had 2 calibras now and none of them have had back lights in, but at night everything is very dark, the knobs look like they shud have light shinning through.

In one of my bad ideas 2day i removed the whole dash, trying to reposition my heated seat switches-dont ask, and ave taking the heating pannel out, but cant find a blown bulb or a place where a bulb is missing?

Should there be a bulb? Am i looking in the wrong place?

Its near the top. If you were to unscrew the heater panel and pull it as far forward as possible without removing the cables you will see a couple of wires, pull the bulbholder out with long nosed pliers, change buld, job done. Have a search on here for more advice, alternatively do what i did at the weekend and fit an LED filled heater panel.

No i decided that i wanted to move the heated seat switches up to next to the heated rear window, where the aircon switch is i think, but i don't have aircon.

A job i wished i hadn't started, but i will complete it, next weekend
