Ooh I remember playing hunt the yellow plug
Mine was cable tied to one of the thicker looms, behind the small plastic siding in the radio cage area , could see it fairly easily (well at least one edge of it) so I knew it was there, but cutting that cable tie was a nightmare!

i got it sorted Fraz. That was wot it first said when i plugged it in (hot-plugged it). After it was all in and the centre console all in one piece again, i dis-connected the battery. Its working as it should now.
It was from a Cav SRi eco. same engine, same wiring. I dont think it will give any probs.

It also has to be shipped from/to Norway so the shipping costs alone are sick. GM here charges around £80 for a new chip.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
