As above, I fitted remote locking (Vaux kit - system 90 I think is the name), and the guide was VERY useful.
I was a bit wary about doing it as I don't like chopping wires etc, but it was fairly easy. My only 'mistake' was not getting a good earth point for the alarm, so at first it would lock and then take about 20 goes to unlock, and I could see the LED getting dimmer by the seconds as it drained..
I'd say try to solder the connections tho rather than using the scotchlocks, much tidier and securer (I could barely get the trim back on when I used all scotchlocks the first time)

Fitted 2 remote kits on Vaux Cav and Cally. Both were alarm kits, both used 2 wires to the locking unit located in the drivers side footwell behind the trim at the bottem. When looking at the unit, the 2 wires at the front are the lock / unlock pulse connections. you might have to use a test bulb in there to work them out but once fitted to either a remote kit or an alarm they don't seem to give any problems. Only prob i have ever had with locks is the passanger door on my Cally had a "lazy" element and when locked on remote, popped open again. I changed the element and its been good as gold since.

off the top of my head, i think one is black and the other is brown. easiest way to identify them is to get a piece of wire with an earth loop connector on it. screw it to the light pin switch on the drivers side A piller.
Take out the trim drivers side footwell. At the bottem, under the ECU is the central locking interface. undo the mounting bracket and drag it out. the end nearest to you are the 2 wires u need to check. take the wire and try it in each. it uses a negative loop so as soon as u hit the negative wire the door locks will pop.
The 2 wires for remote locking should be soldered or scotch-locked to these.
Hope that helps
