Rear light wire colour

anyone know what colour the wire is to the taillights? the colours in the haynes seem wrong. trying to wire the light back to the boot light to get rid of that dash warning cos of the lexus lights.

says grey and black from what i can tell in the haynes, but aint got one that colour. would it be white and black by any chance?
