New Battery

Captain Paranoia has asked me to ask you guys this - New battery put in car over a week ago, all running ok but the little window indicator is showing black, not green. Is this normal or is something draining the Captains battery slowly.

yer mate ignore the battery displays.. they do "kinda" work..
leave your car idle for 12hrs and then look at it and it will be green, use any juice at all or rock/move/drive the car and the little ball just sinks again..
remember they are just a plastic ball not a light, so shine a bright torch on it and you may just see the ball popping up and down if you bounce the car a bit.. is perfectly normal. put a volt meter on it if in doubt

Its a shame really cos its a good theory lol. but only really usefull to say when battery fully charged on a charger, u wait for ball, then switch off..
