Boost Gauge Wires

Hello all, I'm fitting a boost gauge, with 3 wires - RED says 12v ignition switch (+), ORANGE says connect to 12v lighting and BLACK says connect to good ground. Can anyone please let me know where is best to cut them into. Its an auto gauge smoked boost gauge. Cheers Cheers

I am mounting it on drivers pillar with a rgm universal single 52mm pod.
