fault code 44 ???? any ideas

Any electrical issues

fault code 44 ???? any ideas

ecu light keeps comin on then goin off did a paper clip test n came back with fault 44 oxygen sensor air/fuel 2 lean(weak) now the lambo sensor only 2 months old n ive cleaned the i,c,v any ideas any1?????

air leak? try spraying carb cleaner around inlet and intake pipe with engine idling, if engine note changes drastically air is getting in where it shouldnt. air flow meter???

cleaned inlet not 2 long ago will try that in the mornin no code 4 air flow meter n it pritty clean

Is it actually running too lean? does the code come up on driving or idle too?

spark plugs are black n when code turns up its there when drivin or idle n usng a lot a fuel code cames n goes cant work it out

black is too rich not too lean.
are you sure the new lambda sensor works ok? fault code didnt start appearing after you installed it by any chance?

i no thats wots doin my nut there black but code says 44, fitted it a couple of months ago only just started playin up a wk or so ago was code 13 got rid of that now its keeps sayin 44 could the lambda be playin up

get the sensor checked, look at topbuzz.co.uk for info on testing yourself or take it to a garage with a box doobery to plug in.

will try n test the sensor it could be that if i diconnect my battery 4 a couple of minutes it goes away but comes back after a hour or so of runnin

still no luck ran ok 4 abit but as soon as it starts gettin warm theres wot feels like a blokage 4 a sec then the light comes on then its run ok its eatin fuel any ideas its doin my nut

Have you checked the crankshaft sensor?
