C20LET ECU, Which chip is which?

Hi, I am in the middle (?) of uprating my Turbo. Have fitted a T3 turbo & 4 branch manifold and now want to fit phase 3 chips to help it all along. Problem is that I have had the chips for about a year and have lost the install guide. Having opened up the ECU I found there are no markings inside to tell me which chip is for the injection and which is for the boost control. The Chips I have to fit are marked ok but both are 14 pin so can fit either circuit board (a*se). Can anyone tell me which chip is which??? TA!!

Hi, you can download the installation instructions from the site if they are genuine EDS phase3. (you will need more than to know which chip is which, so you might as well go straight there)

and then the power wheel install for the phase3 board and switch etc

Thanks Stu. I have checked this already but thanks for reply. Bought mine s/hand and definately not Eds. I reckon the chip next to the map/boost sensor is the boost control chip but not sure. Cheers

Yes thats correct. THe chip next to the map sensor is the boost control chip and the ohter one is the fuel chip.

What are your chips labelled as? Bost and fuel? Bodem and Deckel?!

Hi Naz, thanks for that! The chips are labelled Motor P3 and Ladedruck, so I figure motor p3 is the injection and Ladedruck is the boost. Think these may be german copies?? but will give them a go. Will keep you posted as to how it goes. Cheers.

Quick update. I have fitted the new chips and done a quick blast. All seems ok with the turbo / pressure. Spools up nice and boost is held ok. Not gone mad yet as I need to fit a fuel pressure regulator and sort out the wastgate etc but a quick run showing just over 1 bar boost was enough to prove a point.
