Electric Windows!!!

Right, my passenger side leccy window is having problems.

It started with the 'automatic' up and down function stopped working... u know when u hold it and let go and it does it on its own by MAGIC [img]/smile.gif[/img]

so that stopped working but i could make it go up or down, just had to hold the button...then there was a little problem of it taking a few presses to get it up or down..

now the window will only work sometimes when i turn the ignition on and off a few times... sort of a 'luck of the draw scenario'

It also WONT GO UP when you lock it from outside, although the driver's side WILL GO UP.

it seems the motor is working fine when it IS working, and i don't think it is anything to do with the rollers sticking?

SO... is there a window control circuit in the leccy window button unit in the centre console?

Do we reckon its just a matter of getting anuva one of them???

Could it be as simple as a loose wire and then when it does work it will need programing to make it go up on auto(holding the button up for 5 secs).

yeah, hold the button at top for a few seconds, you may hear a slight click, then do the same at the bottom, hold it down for a few seconds. That resets the automatic up and down part of it

Mine did same. They sould go up with remote C/L but it didnt. I noticed 2 hours later when i got back to the car.
