I hear you, I went to a Rover Coupe Turbo (very fast) but the rover community were a bunch of jackasses... then I came back to Vauxhall and got a Vectra 2.2 SRi which was nice for motorway driving but lacked any kind of style... Im very happy to be back with a Calibra... I love them...

This sub and amp has made it from from first Calibra back to this one, sounds awesome!

Painted up my new spark plug cover... matches the car now

Also fitted my Blitz Induction kit just to see what difference it makes... its loud lol... does make it seem smoother up the rev range...

yep gonna need one asap... its a beast on a cone lol... was on my Rover coupe turbo, thought I might as well give it a go on the calibra, maybe a little ott for the old ecotec

Update...

Got my bits through to make up the induction system, fits better now and moved more forward...




Fitted a cold air feed too...




Started preparing the bumper for a respray...

FInally got the new rad, fan and fan switch fitted at the weekend, and gave the system a good flush and filled with new coolant... using as old switch to go in the second hole till i can get a blanking plug for it...

Old rad was not a Calibra rad, didnt fit and had been bodged in with cables ties

And yes, thats a brand new spanking shiney rad

Made a start on the big 'to do' list, however just as I started so did the rain so knocked it on the head and will continue tomorrow... what I have planned and what I have done so far...

To fit...
Lower Suspension arms (painted red now)
Track rod ends
Anti-roll bar links
Rear crossmember bushes (one fitted then it rained)
R/H side Engine mount
Aux Belt

Front bumper to be sprayed along with all the bump strips...
