Next up will be fitting some non nipple side repeaters sorting out the oil pressure gauge, new set of number plates and touching up the paintwork...

Shame I got my finger in the way on this pic... and yes further down the line I will be getting a much more stylish exhaust lol...

My list of work is starting to grow... I'll so glad I start my new job on Monday and that summers coming, so plenty of time to work in the evenings on the car...

So far Im looking at...

1. Fit correct Rad and Fan.
2. Fit new boot lock.
3. Sort out the Bouncing Speedo and the EML light (get it to come on when gnition is on)
4. Sort out rattle on exhaust/Replace exhaust (would like a more stylish rear tailpipe)
5. Replace Front suspension components (lower suspension arms, track rod ends etc...)
6. Replace shocks with bilstein shocks all round.
7. Treat the small rust patches on the bodywork.
8. Oil change + Oil filter.
9. Change Pollen Filter.
10. Fit amp and sub.
11. New wipers (I have no idea how the ones on there got through an MOT)
12. Get jacking point cover

Once Ive worked my way through that list I will be happier... and you would have thought a car flying through an MOT would not need to be touched... I guess it is still a 14year old car at the end of the day...

Decided to try and clean up the rust patch on the side sill, not finished yet but at least its looking better, need to get the right paint to get it finished off...

Sanded and grinded all the rust off...
Image

Bit of body filler to fill in the roughness and then sanded down till smooth...
Image

Primer on, needs to be sanded down and then sprayed...

More work to the Calibra... fitted my sub and amp yesterday, while getting the stereo out to connect up the phono cables and remote lead I thought I would check out the heater controls as I suspected that the cables had come off as the sliders didnt seemt to change the heater settings. I was correct all three cables were not connected so went about sorting them out, which anyone thats done work on their heater panel before will tell you how much of a pig that job is...

SO anyways, Sub and amp fitted, heater now working correctly and today I will battle the bouncing speedo again and try and get the EML working...

Pics to follow :)
