yeah I think they would too, but i had to take what i could find down halfords the other week as the bulbs that were in the original headlights were just white lights so need to get some legal ones quick... will try and get some silver ones at some point...

next up will be getting the bonnet sorted...

Update...

Well things have been getting done at a snails pace this month, Still waiting on my mate to get the carbon fibre vinyl in to do the bonnet... however I did change my side indicators over to the new smoked ones I ordered up...



Sorted out the centre caps on my alloys... had to knock off the covers at the front that covered the hub nut, also used my 5mm wheel spacers at the rear to bring the wheels out enough to get the rear centre caps on...

And applied a couple more of the decals on the front and rear...




overall its coming along well now, not far off the final look...

slowly... plan is to try and have it ready for next year's show season... hopefully ready to get it on the track at some of the shows and certainly ready for USC@Santa pod for some drag action...

Right got my new strutbrace fitted today and it works a treat... does feel a lot more tight round bends now, will have to keep an eye on my tyres now...

also started on the red stripe on the front bumper... apart from some mesh the bumper is now pretty much finished...

Been pretty slow with any developments over the last few months what with moving house and doing far too much overtime at work, however, hopefully with some up and coming days off not far away, Ill be able to get on with some jobs that have been on the cards for a while...

Pretty much getting there with things though and with some new shocks all round and new rear brakes in the pipeline the Calibra will soon be ready for a potential planned trip to the ring, just hope it gets through winter ok...

New MOT taking me till FEB'12 now

Just needed the handbrake adjusting... all good now...

Will soon be time to re-commence the project, been to cold and wet to get anything done on it, not even washed it for a few weeks now

Right managed to get a free day to do some bits to the car that Ive been meaning to do for a while now...

First up was a full on clean, inside and out. Where Ive not used it much over the winter the interior has started to get a bit damp smelling and the leather needed a bit of tlc... I gave the leather a treatment and used a conditioner on it too, feels, looks and smells a lot better, hoover the carpets and checked for any damp patches in the footwell, all appears ok.

Repaired the exhaust as one of the rubber hangers had vanished and the back box was a little loose and knocked against the rear bumper... also found that my rear bumper fixing brackets have rotted and aren't really doing much in the way securing the rear bumper, so will be getting some new ones made

So her it is finally woken from its winter sleep ready for the new year...
