Cool, and good luck with the rest of the rebuild. 3.0 sounds nice but arent they heavier and dont they mess up the handlig?

I know wat your sayin alot of people here dont mind and still go to the shows and that, but if my car was done up a bit and had a bit more power then i could really have some fun!

But it will be niceto check out others cars and get some ideas

Cheers Si,hope you are going to billing mate,come on down sweetboy,the more the merrier.Lots of people have done the 3.0 conversion,car handles fine,im carrying a lot of extra weight on the car anyway with the sound system!!

Awesome looking Car, choice selection of Modifications. I especially like what you have done to the engine bay. Not bad for 2 and a half years work. I got to nearly 4 years and there was still loads more that i really wanted to do.

Thanks very much K5,i am working on the engine bay at the moment,i finally got my hands on a spare windscreen washer fluid tank & power steering fluid tank,so now i can do those as well.I suppose i aint done too bad,from stock to what i have in just over 2 1/2 years.But beleive me i still have a lot to do as well,it never seems to end.Thanks for the comments.

ive only owned mine less than two months and trying to do as much work as poss money permitting to make it look good as well as sound awesome.

Thanks sword,some nice comments their mate,yeah hope to see you and a lot of others at Billing,just take your time with your car,mine is nearly 3 years work now,and still got a lot to do,My next major piece of work in around a month or so is converting it from an auto to a manuel,with a lightened flywheel,I can't wait to see what it drives like when thats done.Anyway welcome the the club,and hope you enjoy our company.

Hi guys,just to let you know i have updated the Engine bays pics on page 1,The pictures dont show the colour properly as it was very sunny when the pics were taken,the blue is actually a deeper colour then it looks.Hope you like.

Courtenay Animal (read the car spec...) Bit expensive though,but i wanted it!!!,Pain in the *** to fit as well.

Mate, that engine bay is stunning...just one question...how the hell do you get it so CLEAN???!!!!! [img]/biggrin.gif[/img]

No-matter what i do, mine's always mucky, and i don't want to risk steam cleaning it in case it doesn't start again lol

Any hints and tips gratefully received :tongue:
