I've driven 2 and they are totally unimpressive, compared even to something like an XE Corsa, which in itself isn't really any good.

For a hot hatch I'd be looking at a Civic Type-R or maybe a Clio 182

TBH I dont think i'd want anything with the rover K series engine in it, even with the compulsory head gasket done.

That includes an S1 Elise, have driven one and not that great tbh.
