Just seen this on another forum...
Just seen this on Astra Owners Club...
hi I just recently wired 6x9 from the boot parcel shelf to the head-unit I cut slightly into the rear light positive and negative and attached the 6x9 wires it crackles the front and rear speakers and no sound comes from the 6x9 so i swapped the wires and still the same issues any advice of what I am doing wrong? starting to frustrate lol :<

he is using the wrong wire, should be the rear light live and then the earth to a ignition live
