Civic Type-R
Hey guys I picked up this 2003 Civic Type-R yesterday and I'm chuffed to bits with it! It's sensible mileage (81k), mechanically sound, HPI clear and just in need of a bit of body TLC to make it mint. All for a lot less than they normally fetch! I'm sick to death of that Porsche so this will be a nice change.

First jobs will be:
Service
Fit a headunit and some ICE
Wheel refurb and add some good tyres (essential on these, otherwise they don't handle!)
Then I'll look at:
Lowering springs
Bodywork sorted (scuffs and dings)
Decent induction kit and possibly an exhaust / remap
All suggestions / comments welcome

Re: Civic Type-R
To be fair a Scoob is 4WD and turbo, not a straight comparison really. But cool cars anyway especially the STi

Similar place in my old 1972 Renault 4 as well. Very logical place, near the hand on the wheel.

It is ugly, but to be fair it's in 4th gear in the pic
And I'd also sooner have an ugly but effective gearshift as opposed to a Calibra one (no offence but Calibra gearchanges are shockingly bad!)
