First cars!

Was just wondering what everyone was running for their first motor and if they had any pics?
Mine was a MK1 XR2 lookalike with a mind blowing 1L engine! :lol: This car got drove flat out for 6 months until a garage I was working at got a Nova SR (GTE lookalike) in for part ex. Never looked back! :D

mk 2 escort ghia 1.3 white with black vinyl roof (dont tell ally i had a black roof) loved it and tried to buy an other just before i bought the calibra till i saw how much they where going for now :shock:

mk4 1.3 escort in sky blue, ended up resprayed black with an rs bodykit and alloys fitted. also had the engine taken out and fitted with an 1.6 engine out a mk3 escort. the interior was taken out as well and fitted with the interior out of an xr3i :roll: :lol:

A 1977 4 door saloon Vauxhall Shove-it in sky blue, and yes i did have to shove it on quite a few occassions. Indicator and wiper arms are the other way round so when i got my next car i used to clean my windscreen when flashing and when it rained would indicate right. Loved it though

Mine was a F reg red nova SR. Loved it but wrote it off after about 4-5 weeks down some country lanes. Then I bought a G reg 1.4 SR.

I will always love vauxhall novas & always tell the gf I'm gonna get another with roll cage, buckets etc one day. Needless to say she then has a moan at me saying things like "Havnt you grown out of stuff like that now!"

steve I would love to get my hands on a clean MK2 Escort now but wouldnt want to re-morgage my house for it! :lol:

bluejuz you never too old for a Nova man I'm in my mid 30's still have one and have no plans of ever getting rid of it! :lol: :snooty: :dance:
