New Old Faithful
After looking for months for something to replace the Audi I finally picked up this BMW 535D in the week. It goes against all my principles being a diesel, auto and estate but while it ticks all the boxes I was looking for and will do over 40mpg to the gallon it still has 580Nm of torque and pulls and pulls like a steam train all the way up to 155 (apparently). Plan to get it chipped and change the alloys for the M6 ones but other than that will be keeping if fairly standard

Re: New Old Faithful
i'm sure it was one of these that a photographer had at an evo x photoshoot at Silverstone i think, the evo was tuned quite a bit and they put it round the track to get a lap time.
they then asked if the photographer would allow his 535d to go round just to get a comparison, the beemer only had slight modification and absolutely caned the evo

BETTER TO HAVE A CALIBRA AND NOT NEED ONE, THAN NEED A CALIBRA AND NOT HAVE ONE!!!
