spray painting

by stevo turbo » Wed May 30, 2012 8:56 pm

anyone done anything on a big scale themselves (and doesnt own a body shop), full pannels/ full respray themselves? i have done a couple of things like bumpers and it didnt seem too bad to do but just wondering if anyone has had a go at it?

I have just found myself looking at paint tonight and possibly thinking about giving it a go this summer on the donor car?

I did the bottom half off the drivers and passenger door, they painted up fine but when it came to polishing them it turned out I didn't put enough paint on and rub it through to the primer :alright:

if you want a showroom finish go to the pros if you're going for a rough ratish look then a couple of rattle cans will do it...

If I was going to try it I would have full power sanders and compressor and spray gun set up for the job
