Need some help. The cars all painted and finished but can't get it passed the MOT, he's put a cat and lambor on and it still won't pass the MOT HELP as it's doing my head in.

How far off is it?

It may help if you stick some octane booster in and get it REALLY hot before testing.

why whats it failing on ...and I presume emissions but which part??

It's .1 over on the CO2

what else has been done to the car mod wise

anything done to the exhaust system. fuel air ecu ???

Middle box has been taken out so cat to back box and thats it.

Make sure the air filter is clean and spark plugs are in good condition. Could also try a shot of cataclean as well

a good service makes a huge difference to emmisions

also as above i usualy use forte fuel treatment in around a quarter of tank of petrol and some very hard driving just before mot

Is the engine still std Mark?

as mentiones eaarlier a forte and a good drive before the test, failing that it could be parts time which could be one of many things. eg flow meter, coolant temp sensor, egr etc
