Anyone watch Break into Britain

Just watched this on BBC1 and it seems the people from all over are not just wanting to escape from a country they feel they are at risk in. They are just wanting to get here, so they can get work

Now I can understand that you want the best for your children's future, and this country does seem to be the best place to be able to give your children a life far better than they would ever get in their own country, But most of them shown are single men risking life or injury to get not into a country to escape some form of persecution or some other problem. its simply because this country is the best place to go, and they pass right through a lot of other countries making a bee line for here

I think it's Western Europe in general. France and Italy have similar problems with immigration from Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

I don't know if the reality matches up to the dream, I suppose only those who do it know for sure!

Could it be the attraction of the easy life, free health, homes and a money payout as soon as they get here? Not having to make contributions first to receive it? I wonder

We should send them home, we are full up.

Don't get me wrong a work with a LOT of polish and 80% of them are hard working decent people who I have a lot of time for, I also have a few living around me, and all are polite and friendly but enough is enough, we are seriously over populated now.

yes other counties have some problems with immigration ...but most of them are only just travelling through there to get to here, and these countries are quite happy to move the problem along...just look at that big camp the French built right next to the main container depot ..Songat or some such place
