n the two photos can you guys tell me if i have the torque wrench set to 8nm or 6 lbs of foot pound

am i right in saying that the newton meters is indicated on the black handle and the foot pounds is on the handle

irc the back is the 10ths ie 10,20 ect and the handel does the 1,2,3, ect so if you want 21lbs you put the back at 20 and the handel on 1

Baz, on the actual shaft of the wrench idoes it just show a foot pound scale?
BTW Steve is right, the rotating handle devisions are single ft/lbs

he has put metal covers on some time back but still has a wee oil leak so i think that this is what he is trying to sort out

arnt there two different gaskets?the ones destined for the vectra or the calibra ones...are the bolts the same...seem to remember someting different?

looking at the picture you have it set at 8 ft lbs ...but its hard to tell with the glare

look at the left scale passed then plus the handle..i.e 30 then 6 would be 36... you wont be far off there mate.
