6 weeks off :o When i had mine done i went in at 08:00 was first on the list so they didnt have time to give the pain pill before i went ( that went up my jacksey whilst they gave me the anasetic  ) all done and busted by 1pm. Ended up with a 5 inch gash in the groin (closest i've come to a shaven gash ever :D ), wife also made me walk 200 yards to the bl**dy car after aswell. back to work 3 weeks later. Still gives me some jip now. Oh and the videos - yes videos in those days - were rather naff. All because of a water leak in my footwells.
What caused yours mate, if you dont mind me asking. Did you have the keyhole surgery or did they open you up like they did me. Think they used a can opener on me. Anyway hope you're feeling ok and as Mark said, just in time for the World Cup!!

I went in at 8 and out by 2, I got opened up as they only use key hole surgery second time round, preferred the open up job as i was put under and it only felt like a couple of seconds passed when i woke up :D

Mine was probably caused by heavy lifting at work :(

Ouch, second time... thats what i'm dreading and was also told depending on severity i could be in hospital for a week - something to do with repacking the wound with more gauze or whatever they use

Most hospitals wont operate through old scar tissue hence the key hole surgery second time round.
