Where is the best place to put axle stands at the back of the car?

depends on what your going to be working on, but probably best just behind the doughnut bush

if your taking the axel off i put a pile of wheels with tyres under the spare wheel well and axel stabs on the sill just before the doughnut bush, mind chak the front wheels

I've put them on the insides, really close to where the 'Jacking Point' is with the Original Jack...

I put them where the vertical bolt goes up through the donut bush. It's already rusted/cruddy there anyway.

No point spoiling your sills for it
