America's Debt

by Callyman » Tue Aug 02, 2011 10:22 pm

America MUST have a good bank manager.
They are currently $14.3 Trillion in debt....and have agreed to increase this limit by a further $2.5 Trillion.
If you have no idea how big ONE trillion is it's 1 million million or 1,000 Billion, that's 1 followed by 12 zeros(1,000,000,000,000).

If you have no concept of how big that is then think about this........If you where to start counting 1, 2, 3, etc at the rate of +1 every second (presuming the bigger numbers could be spoken in one second) how long would it take you to reach one Trillion, 3months? 6 months? 1 YEAR? 5 years? 10 Years?
It's actually 31,880 years  ......starting to realise how much debt they are in now?

Finally, If you have no idea what ONE Trillion looks like (let alone 14+) look here http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/index.html

I'd guess so Fraz, I think they have already had more than 1 Triilion from them already.
USA owe us almost 400 Billion.
They should put those redundant Shuttles on ebay. :D
