LPG from a gas bottle...

Just out of curiosity.....is there an adapter to transfer gas from a calor gas bottle into your lpg converted car?? Came across this on a landy forum from someone saying about carrying a spare gas bottle for his v8 greenlaner when he goes out in the sticks... just want to try and gather more info??

there probably is would never do it though i just use the garages instead for lpg!

My first thought of problem was that i was under the impression that the lpg on a forcourt uses a pump to force the gas into the car at pressure. Would you not need aanother pump to get the gas out of a bottle into the car too?? Or would it 'drain out' if you held it high enough since its in liquid form??

Erm.....NO! ........but then again, should anyone be surprised that people would consider this?! Least of all our 'democratic' government. All that they're doing is bleeding the country dry by no less than mugging us all at the forecourt tills.....
